  • Dorm Life isn't what I expected. The bathrooms and stall are really out to date as well as the laundry rooms. The furniture is old as well. There are problems…

  • Poor. While doing laundry is free on campus, there is a definite lack of washers and dryers offered. The dorms are old, and most do not have air conditioning. Only…

  • Freshman dorms are very old, out-dated buildings. The upperclassman dorms are much better but smaller than dorms at most larger universities. There are many dorm rules since Mary Baldwin is…

Unhealthy and unnecessary. You have to pay for a meal plan even though you probably won't be eating there. Ridiculous.

They have two options, known locally as the Pub and Hunt. Hunt is basically buffet style but have on provided the occasional food poisoning. This is mostly due to the fact that its run by Mary Baldwin students. The Pub is like a cafe (the name is actually The Cafe) and provides sandwiches, salads, soups, and such. They're great but you can easily lose the appetite of having the same food repeatedly.

Hunt Dining Hall and the Pub are two places to eat on campus. The Pub offers food that is fast food inspired. Linda B. Hunt Dining Hall offers sit down meals, meaning that expect to be there for at least twenty minutes or more. Hunt Dining Hall is located closer to the majority of the dorms.

Food is mediocre espically at Hunt dinning hall, but they have several options including a vegitarian bat, salad bar, and then two other lines. They also have the Pub which serves pretty good food, its more like a day food joint.

Okay, this is the number one thing I would change about my college experience. The food. Don't come here expecting delicious food because you will be SORELY disappointed. While mostly edible (and even great, like on she-crab soup days!), the food is subpar at best most days. You may find yourself with better luck up at the 'Pub', our second dining location on the other side of campus.

This is included in your tuition. Unfortunately, there are only two dining facilities on campus and no dining dollars for off-campus dining. Additionally, there are pretty limited closing hours (breakfast ends at 9:30, lunch at 1:30 and dinner at 7:30) and the food is cafeteria-style, no seconds until the last half hour of dining, and yes this is enforced. For the vegetarians, vegans, and people that eat halal/Kosher there are very limited pickings, though there is a salad bar that is always open. Dining services boasts in their healthy choices, but not in tasty ones...

The food is bad. They lack the simple necessities such as ketchup and their food tastes bad. They have a poor selection and they are stingy with the amount that they give you.

Greek life is not offered on campus. Currently there is talk of offering a Greek Life option in the near future.

Nonexistent. Although there is a group on campus consisting of African-American students that mostly serves the purpose of a sorority. They host many events, have many traditions and are very exclusive.
