It is a good idea to apply as soon as you are able and, in addition, you will most likely need scholarships, grants, and student loans as Nova Southeastern University is a private school. Although it is not one of the most expensive schools in the country, tuition, room and board can be a challenge to any pocketbook.

If you are in high school make sure to rock them SATs cause Nova will give you cash unlike some universities. Keep looking for scholarships, it is a private university and therefore is on the expensive side of things. Ask yourself if you can deal with humid heat and a small school.

Nova is based on opportunities and small class sizes; if you're not active in organizations, internships, etc, then it's not worth it. But if you are, especially if you're thinking to be a pre-health science student, then its a great school. It's extremely easy to gain internships, know your professors, be an lab assistant, and become involved (including executive board.)

Nova is known for giving out scholarships so look to see if you qualify for their presidential scholarship that provides full tuition and dean's scholarship that awards around $2,000-$9,000 per year. Join clubs and/or Greek organizations if you want to fully experience college life.
