Plenty of school clubs and activities, as well as a lot of offerings in town. Frats and sports for those who like them.

There's no football team but there's intramural sports. There's Spring Fling (festival in spring semester) and Rec Fest-a day in the beginning of the fall semester where you can check out the clubs and sign up for them. (DON'T MISS THIS IF YOU WANT TO GET INVOLVED) This is the best time for you to get out and check what the school has. The area also has restaurant week when you can go to restaurants downtown and eat for cheaper than usual. There's also the East Gym where you can go workout. They have weights, treadmills, a track, etc.

There are dozens of clubs, intramural sports, and always countless activities in each living community every week. Also the University sends out an email every day with all of the events taking place that day and for the next few days on campus. Aside from that, partying is a huge part of campus life, while greek life isn't mandatory to party it is still popular. There are always parties going on and the bars are always packed on the weekends. The University's main concern is safety, so as long as they don't see or hear you doing illegal things they won't try to get you in trouble, and they always are more concerned with your safety than anything else.

There's always a party every weekend if you're up for it. I wouldn't say Binghamton is known for it's party scene though. Some parties are fun and some aren't. It depends on who you know there, who you came with, which frat it is, and the night in general.

There's always activities going on on campus. You can attend events on the weekends hosted by your resident hall. Occasionally, there are concerts held at the Anderson Center and little plays put on by your resident hall. There's also the bowling alley and billiards center opened on weekdays and weekends. Every Friday, there is Late Nite; you get free foods and stuff. There are also individual events held by different clubs, such as the Amazing Race by China Care and Pho Event by VSA. Off campus, you can go to parties on the weekends and paintballing. There is Oakdale Mall if you like shopping, but there are limited stores there.

Hang out with your high school friends. One of the most obvious things on campus is the groups of students hanging together. International students are in groups speaking their native language and students from different parts of NY hang together. No need for any adjustment period if you stick with your high school friends.

There are endless things to do for fun- clubs, dorm activities, Student Association festivals, sports events, Late Night Binghamton, dance shows, acapella groups, you name it, we've got it. Off campus there are also a lot of activities- First Fridays, BMets and BSens games, Greek Peak for snowboarding/skiing, Nathaniel Cole Park (aka the Blake) and so much more! There's always something going on here. If you're bored it's your problem!

Get involved! So many cool, unique, and fulfilling clubs/organizations/causes to join. There are a lot of activities that go on in Downtown Binghamton, such as parades, art festivals, bar crawls, and minor league hockey and baseball games.
