Founded in 1871, the State University of New York at Geneseo is a public liberal arts college in western New York State and a campus of the SUNY system. Geneseo grants bachelor’s degrees in 50 academic majors and 27 interdisciplinary minors. With campus featuring brick walkways and shade trees, the university also hosts the Spencer J. Roemer Arboretum featuring oak trees said to be over 200 years old. Every year, Geneseo holds an annual “extreme learning” retreat called Real World Geneseo where students are immersed in workshops, presentations, and discussions relating to issues of power, race, sexual orientation, gender, and class.
a great college if you're looking to be challenged academically and professionally. perfect for liberal arts majors or undecided students. one of the best business schools in the western new york area.

A wonderful college for someone who is very serious about their studies. Is very goal oriented, and has a fairly serious student body. However, there are always the people and opportunities to have a good time.
