Graet dorm life and family oriental.…
I have found the dorm life to be excellent. I lived in Saint Francis Hall my first two years and I loved it. It was easy to make friends…
As a commuter, I do not know much about dorm life. I have been inside the freshman girl's dorms however, and they were recently renovated, and although they are sorta…
Living on campus is fun and allows you to meet a lot of new people. Everyone is really friendly and enjoys doing activities together. …
The dorms are small but sizes doesn't really matter in all situations.…
A lot of people complain about college food, but I have never had a problem at SFU. During breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours, there are so many different options, and some of these are open all the time: international food line, deli, pasta/pizza bar, buffet line, cereal, bagels, fruit and salad bar. There is always something that can be eaten, and the food is not bad. However, remember it is not exactly your mom's homemade cooking either.
Read MoreThere are many choices to choose from when it comes to food at Saint Francis University. The school offers four places on campus where students can use their swipe money to purchase food. -Frankie's is like a fast food restaurant, but it is more like a Sheetz or a WAWA than a McDonald's. At Frankie's, students use a touch screen to order the food they would like. Options range from cinnamon sticks, pizza, and burgers, to steak salads. Also at Frankie's, students can purchase snacks and bottled soda. -Padua Express is a food stand located in Padua hall. There they serve pizza, coffee, chicken tenders and soups. The food selection and coffee selection rotate daily. Also here you can buy pop-tarts, snacks, and sodas. -Cafe Gubbio is a great place to study, but also serves select Starbucks coffee, and has their own line of frozen drinks. Along with coffee, you can purchase sandwiches, and desserts for a fast in-store bite, or for on-the-go. -Torvian Dining Hall is the main university eatery. Every day there is are items that change and items that stay the same. Torvian includes a salad bar, a pizza bar, and a deli where you can make sandwiches with a variety of different ingredients. There is also a main cafeteria line that serves burgers, hot dogs, and fries daily, but the other options in that line varies daily. Also, on most days there will be either rice or pasta served either in the pizza line or at Bravisimo, which is in Torvian as well. Lastly, Torvian offers a dessert bar, and has ice cream for students every day.
Read MoreFood quality is not bad at all, however, it is never explained to you beforehand or during orientation that there is exactly ONE dining hall that your meal plan is good for. Everything on campus not named Torvian comes out of your bonus dollars. Get a low meal plan, you do not want to keep going to the same place over and over and over again for 4 years, it gets old after about 3 days.
Read MoreFood is not that good. There is only one station that I usually eat from because the food is fresh. The others usually serve the same thing everyday.
Read MoreFood is prepared by the same family that runs the chain restaurant Eat-n-Park. Pretty good for being cafeteria dining. Mostly repetitive and not always the healthiest of options.
Read MoreNot only does Torvian have a fully stocked salad bar, but they have a variety of hot food options, desserts, and breakfast foods. The freshman 15 is made easy in this dining hall.
Read MoreThere are occasional meals that aren't very appetizing, but for the most part the food is delicious and there are many options at all meals.
Read MoreThe food is a lot better than most collage campuses that I visited, but cannot compare to homecooking. There are two different dining options as well as a Starucks on campus. The traditional dining hall always has normal collage food, such as pizza and fires but also offers specialty dishes, such as Chinese on different days. There is also a made to order part, which has limited choice but all are pretty yummy.
Read MoreCampus dinning is fairly average. The food in the main dinning hall always consists of pizza, sandwich, salad, and soup options. The main entrees are always different.
Read MoreI have been on the campus on several occasions, and I have always found the food to be fantastic and there is a ton of variety.
Read MoreSaint Francis has 6 Fraternities, and 7 Sororities. SFU Greek Life has a very high GPA in comparison to other schools who have a greek life program.
Read MoreThey talk about it a lot, don't really see much going on with it though.
Read MoreAs a member of the sorority Gamma Sigma Sigma, Greek life is very active on campus and in the community. Each organization has their own philanthropy and helps out on campus.

Read MoreVery well put together.
Read MoreGreek life on campus is awesome. The school makes it a point to make sure that Greek life is not like Greek life in movies. Greek life at Saint Francis is full of service and friendship. Greek life isn't for everyone but it has helped me to make friendships that will last a lifetime and has helped me to gain qualities that I will be able to use long after leaving Saint Francis University.
Read MoreThere is Greek Life available at Saint Francis University.
