    Follow up a dozen times, administration will lose your things, forget ever talking to you ect. Have copies of everything.

    Keep copies of EVERYTHING!!! They lose your paperwork then say they never received it even after my mom FLEW IN to bring it. Stay on top of financial aid. There are students working in the financial aid office and they only have answers to general questions not more complex questions. They say no supervisors available to answer your questions and someone has to call you back in 3-5 days. But no call back. School is in the hood lol. But campus is nice

    Students wanting to attend Tennessee State should take advantage of every scholarship opportunity the school offers. Also prospective students should keep in mind to maintain an acceptable g.p.a in high school. Another tip would be to make sure to visit this beautiful campus to get a feel of how campus life would be.
