There is a wide selection of classes to choose from and while it is sometimes difficult to get into a desired class there are many more options open. The smaller class sizes really allow you to interact better with your teacher and so get more out of a class.

Beautiful campus, but the town- there wasn't much to see or do. I truly do wish Truman state university was in a different location. Not crossing this school of my future list, but the positives do come with negatives.

I knew this was where I wanted to be the first time I visited, I can hardly wait to begin! This is a beautiful campus, with a lot of highly accredited programs. The Nursing Dept. has the best student lab I saw on any college visit, and the pass rate/employment rate was higher than anyplace else I found.

Truman is not a great school. It doesn't live up to the hype, but then again there isn't much hype about it. Many people transfer after a semester or two, the general feeling on campus isn't contentment, it's stress.

Truman has a beautiful campus, and everyone is friendly. Kirksville isn't big, but the campus tries to make up for that by having plenty of on campus activities. Truman is difficult, but the teacher's are helpful and involved.

Truman is a very small and intimate university with high standards for education. It is very affordable and there is nobody here that doesn't have some sort of financial aid. Around here it is known as the Harvard of the Midwest or the Princeton of the prairie so that says a lot about it/

This school is very academic based. There's not a lot of partying, and it's definitely a supportive environment. Definitely a place to get a good degree for a great price.

Truman State University is a small school that truly values the quality and not quantity of students. Student to professor ratio is 16:1 and professors hold students to a high standard when it comes to academics. There are many opportunities available a Truman that cannot be offered anywhere else.
