the food choices on campus are very lacking but still pretty good. keep in mind tuskegee university is a small school therefore big name fast food restaurants are not available on campus. the cafeteria has its days just like any other school. there is also a convenience store, red tails landing (c-store) where you can buy snacks. austins grill is really good and pretty much like a tex mex. to me kickin chicken is very similar to austins but with more chicken choices. there is also a starbucks but it does not have the full menu.

it's pretty much agreed that the best meal (consistently) the caf serves is breakfast. lunch and dinner you just have to hope for a good day honestly.pretty much every meal lunch and dinner will involve some type of chicken which i didn't particularly like. vegetarian/vegan options are slim to none. there are two restaurants on campus you can use your "tiger points" (you get these with a part of your meal plan & the most points the meal plan offers is 300 the other meal plans offer less points but with that comes more times you can go to the actual caf). the restaurants are called kickin chicken and the other one is austin's grille.

The cafeteria is okay. It has its moments of having really good food and not so good food. It is a pretty big but it can get crowded during Fried Chicken Wednesday and Fish Friday. There is also Austin's, The Marvelous Marketplace, and Kicken' Chicken where you have the ability to spend points and money. There is also the convenience store (C-Store) where you can buy some food items for your dorm room.

Tompkins Hall(The Cafe) is two places in one. The top half is the Cafe and bottom is the Student Union. The Cafe has good food and bad food it all depends on the day. In the Student Union there's a dinner call Kickin' Chickin' which is a little salty. Down the Hill from the Cafe is the C-Store or (Red tails Landing) is a little convenience store you can buy food from there. Down the Ave , a few blocks away from the Cafe is Austins Grill & Starbucks. Both of these are in the same place and are very good. And across from Austins is the KELLOGG HOTEL which also have a restaurant in there.

The cafe is beautiful and the food is okay. It needs more variety if you ask me. but if you love stir fry, pizza, sandwhiches/ wraps, and fried chicken then you will love the cafe because that is mainly what they serve. The cafe has its on and off days where the food could be really really good and you never want to leave and days where you don't want to eat the rest of your plate. Its also one of the main social Gatherings.

the most active greeks are the deltas, alphas and aka's in that order i would say. the ques and kappas are off the yard and have been for a while. it's rumored that the kappas are coming back fall 2016. the lines are usually pretty large considering the amount of students we have less than 3,000 and that's including the grad students who aren't even really apart of campus. so i'd say greek is pretty important here.
