Tuskegee University is a 4-year private school and an Historically Black College and University in east Alabama. Tuskegee offers bachelor’s degrees in over 65 academic majors and is the only HBCU to house a fully-accredited College of Veterinary Medicine. The home of the famous Tuskegee Airmen, TU is also the only college or university in the country to be designated a National Historic Site by the National Park Service. For sports fans, TU fields 12 men’s and women’s athletic teams known as the Golden Tigers.
