Obviously, it's not free to attend a college of this ranking. Though it might cost some of you a lot to come here, it's something that will be worth it. Not only are our professors amazing at what they are researching and teaching, they're willing to help you out through your courses and even help you obtain undergraduate research positions. You have a bunch of options for internships and volunteer opportunities (for example, premed students have access to a bunch of internships offered by the UC Davis Medical Center), and the Internship and Career Center bring over 850 companies to campus each year to help you find an internship or career after college. There are endless resources here and counselors who are willing to help you along the way. And of course the school will put up a bunch of activities for you. Not only do you get free entrance into all of the sports games played at home and free access to the gym, but there are also a huge amount of events that happen throughout the year, notably Picnic Day, which is one of the largest student-run events in the nation! You'll get a bunch of free t-shirts wherever you look.

The University itself is a bit pricey, but you get a great education and one of the most well-maintained campuses out there. You won't regret coming to Davis!

The campus offers student a program called Aggie Cash. This is kind of like a debit card that you can use almost anywhere on campus and even restaurants in Downtown Davis. You can refill your card with Aggie Cash whenever you want to! Having Aggie Cash can be really convenient because its all connected to your ID card so you don't have to carry around your wallet if you don't feel like it.

The Aggie Book Store has a kick backs program that helps in getting savings, and everything in the Memorial Union building is pretty cheap in case you need a bite to eat.
