UC Davis is a university full of diversity. Most people here are extremely nice and welcoming. UC Davis is also extremely close to Downtown Davis where all the good places to eat are at! TIPS FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS - join clubs!! - socialize during the first week - get out of your comfort zone! ACADEMIC RIGOR - courses are quite rigorous but just make sure to find some tutoring or go to office hours DORM LIFE Living in the dorms led me to meet many of my great friends today. It's definitely a once in a lifetime experience and it is a great way to meet new people. FOOD AND DINING There is a lot of variety with the foods offered here on campus. In addition, UC Davis is very close to Downtown Davis, which holds many delicious spots to eat! WHAT TO DO FOR FUN - go to Downtown Davis - go to UMall CAMPUS SAFETY SafeRide has helped for many occasions when I needed to travel around campus at night.

College is too expensive everywhere. Full stop. We pay the regents too much, we pay our chancellors too much. That being said, these are the only reasons I am giving 3 stars because there are so so so many on campus resources and activities that are covered by your tuition.
