Stanford University is consistently ranked as one of the world’s top ten universities by U.S. News & Report. Stanford is a major center for research, and its most popular course of study is computer science. A majority of students choose to live on what Conde Nast Traveler has deemed to be one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation all four years. Admission to this private institution is very selective.
Stanford has all the resources and esteem of an Ivy league school with California weather. The environment, while being extremely academic, is heavily influenced by the 35 D1 athletic teams and laid-back culture of the West Coast. Students both work hard and play hard; and I personally found the campus extremely welcoming and comfortable.

Stanford felt like a new family. The most amazing thing was that everyone there just accepts you for who you are. The weather and the people are beautiful and sunny and warm.
