    When coming to University of Maryland Eastern Shore, you would have to have an open mind to the diversity on campus. There is a lot of different cultures coming from different places to gain this certain knowledge from the university. In the beginning the school does a really good job at getting everyone ready for their college experience.

    UMES is what you make it! If all you do is study and sleep or party too much then you will be miserable. Just like any other school, come in, know your limits, and have a healthy balance! And above all, don't forget that this is still school!
