Salisbury University is a 4-year public institution on Maryland’s eastern shore and a member of the University System of Maryland. Salisbury is home to colleges of Education, Business, Science, Liberal Arts, and Health conferring undergraduate degrees in 43 fields of study. The Salisbury campus is a designated arboretum and over 2,000 species of plants can be found while exploring the university. For a break from academia, nearby downtown Salisbury features shops and restaurants and is accessible via car, bike, or kayak.
salisbury has a vibrant campus, friendly people, and great food. the sports teams are outstanding, and even though its a division 3 school, we have an incredible amount of talent, especially in lacrosse. also, it's only a 45 minute drive from ocean city, and my favorite surf spot.

Salisbury University encompasses the benefits of a large university in a smaller university setting. The classes are small and professors are always willing to help, which is what someone looks for in a small university. There are always things to do, on and off campus, which is what someone looks for in a larger university.
