Read MoreIn Stevens Point, I think you must have the skills to create your own fun. Unlike the bustling city of Madison or Milwaukee, Stevens Point doesn't always have something going on. Instead, take advantage of the school's kayaks and venture to the Schmeekle nature reserve (or just take a walk; it's gorgeous). Go to Emy J's, Zest, or the Brewhaus for coffee or pool. Go to the Encore or Sentry to catch a concert. Go downtown to the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings, followed by a delicious breakfast at the Wooden Chair. Travel 15 minutes East and hang out on the beach at Lake Emily.Go to the campus movie theater (which shows great movies) for free! There are things to do-- you just have to find them!
Read MoreThere are always a lot of parties around campus and if you don't like that the campus always does a good job of putting on a lot of events like movies, comedians...etc.
