The University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point is a 4-year institution located in Central Wisconsin. UWSP offers more than 120 undergraduate programs through its four colleges, complemented by the University College, which assists in the transition from high school to college. All majors begin with a foundation in cultural and environmental awareness, highlighted by the Inclusive Excellence Declaration UWSP has committed to. The 400-acre campus features a health clinic offering a multi-activity center, as well as a 280-acre nature reserve. UW Stevens Point is the first university in Wisconsin to attain 100% renewable energy, and, encouraging the university’s sustainability mission, students can take advantage of free city bus transit.
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is a great college to attend if you prefer a generally smaller sized campus. Class sizes tend to be smaller as a result which I find very beneficial. Additionally most professors are welcome to questions and will often meet outside of class to help when asked.
