Centenary University is a private, career-focused liberal arts college situated in Hackettstown, New Jersey. The university was founded in 1867 by the Newark Conference of the United Methodist Church and operates a 65-acre Equestrian Center in Long Valley, which includes indoor and outdoor areas as well as an eventing course. The campus is also home to Writing Collaboratory, a free writing resource for students taught by trained consultants offering workshops, conversations, and consultations.

centenary is such a homey, warm small college. most of the teachers are really there to help you. all of the students are really nice and helpful.

Centenary College is the perfect school for prospective students to get one on one attention with professors. There are several tutors dedicated to helping students on a daily basis in many majors. For those uncertain of their majors, their is a program called Majors and Minors to help guide you in the direction you would like to pursue.
