The Culinary Institute of America is a food-focused discovery institution with four schools: Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, Business and Management, Liberal Arts and Food Studies, and Culinary Science and Nutrition. CIA maintains four locations, New York, California, Texas, and Singapore, and offers associate and bachelor's degrees as well as Accelerated Degree options that can be completed in 15 months. All students gain real-world experience before graduating, many at The CIA Restaurant Group which serve a variety of cuisines, including farm-to-table, French, and authentic Italian. Students can also take advantage of the elective travel program through the Global Cuisines and Cultures office to experience food around the world.
