D’Youville College is a private, independent institution located in Buffalo, New York. All classes, seminars, and labs in the more than 50 major options at DYC are instructed by expert faculty members, not teaching assistants. Room and Board
The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
(amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
+ amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
+ amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. D'Youville's motto of educating for life couldn't be more accurate; the academic excellence, help, and interaction with considerate professors, and the small-sized campus make for a great opportunity to learn-and retain-valuable information that will be useful in the future. The outstanding faculty and staff are helpful and courteous, and genuinely want every student to succeed. The wide array of programs and majors offered is also a huge benefit.

D'Youville is a small college with with awesome professors! Because of the small size you get to know your professors on a more personal level and you're more than just a number. The small size also allows you to get to know and make friends with students of all different majors and years of study.

The school is great, small classes and great professors. The academic advisors should be a little more attentive to their students and their needs.

Everyone seemed very nice, but this was only a campus visit, so it was hard to get a real feel for the school
