Dyersburg State Community College is a 2-year institution with a main campus and two extension centers in west Tennessee. DSCC’s seven academic departments offer numerous programs of study such as Sports & Leisure Management and Nutrition & Food Science. For students who wish to complete a bachelor’s degree, DSCC offers a guaranteed admission agreement with the University of Tennessee at Knoxville as well as dual admissions programs with three other in-state universities.
Dyersburg State offers an excellent range of classes to meet a variety of student need. Instructors seem genuinely hopeful that all students are successful within their class. Everyone seems approachable, from the custodial staff to the Dean of the college.

Dyersburg State is a great college for first-time students or people who are interested in at least giving college a try. The classes are small, so there is plenty of one-on-one time with professors if you need help. The campus is small and everything is easy to find.
