What Students Are Saying

3.68 Average Rating
If you are looking for a University with a small campus and small classes then FSU is for you. Attending a small campus is extremely convenient for a student that is attending, especially if you live on campus. Most, if not all of your classes are walking distance from most of the dorms. Meaning that if you have a class at 8:00am you can leave 7:30 stop at the café wait for your coffee and still have time to spare. Having smaller classes provides a better learning opportunity, which allows the student to get a better grasp of what's being taught. It is because there aren't as many distractions when dealing with a larger class. It also allows you to get a better relationship amongst you professors when all they have to focus on is 16-22 students instead of 50+ Not only that, but FSU has a wide variety of resources you may need to help progress through your time in college.

To Students who are planning on attending this school, I will advise you to get ready! There is so much to do on campus as well as off campus. The university is exploding with school spirit and the teachers are very friendly and willing to help.

If you're looking for an institution that's located in a small-town area, then Fayetteville State University is the school. The classroom sizes are small, which provides a better learning opportunity for all of its students. They offer numerous resources to help you succeed in your educational pursuits. For example, the writing and math center that offers you expertise for those who are struggling in these subjects and may need a little extra help.

Do as many AP classes as you can in high school. Research your major and start a road map before your senior year in high school.

Tips I have for prospective students is to apply early for admission and housing. Always stay up to date on your financial aid, make sure everything is running smooth. Another tip is to stay focused on your work at all times.
