This school offers a diverse, genuine, and friendly student body. The academics are rich and challenging. The location is also beautiful.

The main campus is located a few blocks above Old Town Pasadena, and less than an hour from the mountains or the ocean. You can explore the local Los Angeles area, or go for a hike.

Campus is personal. However, it can feel a bit small at times. The MA/PhD programs cater to quite a fair bit of students. Just wish that there is a bookshop that sells proper stationery including electronics here.

Make sure you speak to the professor(s) about your course before you enroll.

Join the Housing community activities, and other small groups.

At times the Koreans here can get a little overwhelming with their numbers. Most of them came straight from Korea and hence, do not speak much English as they are enrolled in the Korean language theological studies. Makes one wonder why when there are students from Chinese speaking parts of Asia, there are no courses conducted in Chinese language.
