Named for one of the original Mercury astronauts, Gordon Cooper Technology Center is a technical and vocational school in central Oklahoma. Gordon Cooper confers degrees and certificates in 23 career-centered academic programs. In addition to its main campus, Gordon Cooper features classroom facilities at Shawnee Municipal Airport for its Aviation Maintenance Technology program.
