Room and Board
The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
(amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
+ amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
+ amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. The overall interpretation of this institute after 2 years of recieving an education is that it's undeniably a lovely school. Its small enough in size to be easily accessible and not overwhelming to its students, however it has all the amenities that the larger universities do. The class size are manageable, making it easier to have a functional relationship with ones teachers. There is not a lot of pressure to be part of the typical social scene, and the school also provides a lot of fun activities and events to attend.
Kelsey from Ladson, SC
On a scale of one to ten, I rate Lander University as an eight. Although this is a great campus, there is still work to be done. Some of the professors there are wonderful, while my experiences with others has not been as pleasant.
