Founded in 1856, Mars Hill University is a 4-year Christian liberal arts college in western North Carolina and the region’s oldest institution of higher learning operating on its original site. Nestled among the mountains, Mars Hill confers bachelor’s degrees in 33 academic majors. As a Christian institution, Mars Hill holds regular chapel services at the Broyhill Chapel featuring a solid cherry pulpit made from a campus tree. In addition to classroom space, the Mars Hill campus houses the Rural Heritage Museum and Ramsey Center dedicated to documenting the region’s mountain life.
This was by far the best place for an education. I previously went to Arizona State University, however I was student #45/390 in most classes. I love the location, and the Iota Alpha Omega frat. was awesome!

Mars Hill has great sites and views from inside out. You have the beautiful campus on the inside and the even more beautiful mountains on the outside. I would rate mars hill as an excellent school, from the people to the classrooms it always seems to amaze.
