Tuition, Cost & Aid

Affordability and Cost

Average Net Price Average net price for full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduates paying the in-state or in-district tuition rate who were awarded grant or scholarship aid from federal, state or local governments, or the institution. Other sources of grant aid are excluded. Aid awarded anytime during the full aid year is included.

Average net price is generated by subtracting the average amount of federal, state or local government, or institutional grant and scholarship aid from the total cost of attendance. Total cost of attendance is the sum of published tuition and required fees (lower of in-district or in-state), books and supplies and the weighted average room and board and other expenses.

What Students Are Saying

3.14 Average Rating
Tuition rates have gone up since I've been here. Despite this, it is still much, much cheaper than many other universities. For the amount you learn and the resources available to you, I still believe I'm getting the full bang for my buck.
Dana from Rossford, OH
Owens cost less than $4,000 a year, and if you get grants or scholarships, it is extremely affordable. I recieved a grant for a little over half of my tuition and have been able to pay out of pocket until this semester.
Valerie from Toledo, OH
Tuition was cheap, lab fees were reasonable. Consumables were not restricted unreasonably.
Anthony from Pandora, OH
Great bang for your buck, free gym with tuition, large library, and close to my home.
Desiree from Northwood, OH
Going to this college before going to a university helps tremendously with lowering the overall cost of tuition.
Stephanie from Toledo, OH
More affordable! I recommend people to start at owens then transfer to a four year college of your choice it save a lot of money.
Amber from Toledo, OH
Owens has a low cost at $138 per credit hour. they offer a lot of stuff for the price.
Tiffany from Toledo, OH
THE TUITION FOR IN STATE RESIDENTS IS FAIRLY LOW. THE ADDITION OF THE OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF ONLINE CLASSES AVAILABLE AND THE FLEXIBILITY OF ON CAMPUS CLASSES MAKES OWENS STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE A SMART BUY.
