The class sizes are small (about 35 students per class) so its more personalized learning and you can access help from your professor easier. most of the classes I've taken are to fulfill my gen-ed requirements so nothing to in depth but there are many programs to choose from if your going into a specific major.

My experience with SLCC has been great so far, even if I am just taking online courses (for now). The classes are flexible, but at the same time strict, and the teachers are willing to help you whenever you ask. I feel really good with it, and I think anybody would feel just as welcome as I do.

Salt Lake Community College is a superb institution to take courses toward your degree or even just to broaden your horizon. There are several campus locations in the Salk Lake area making it very convenient for students to commute to class. Overall, the college offers a well-rounded program taught by highly skilled professors.

Great to have a complicated college experience. The website says you can rent from the bookstore, but the machines don't work. The teachers ask you to spend a large sum of money to do the assignments

nester noomon 07\12\2016 writing900 ann fillmore salt lake community college academic advising salt lake community college academic advising center is great because it contains a lot of help. the advisors at the academic advising center do a really good job at advising. they take their time with the student in need of help. the student explains the situation they are facing and the advisors ask the student what kind of changes they would like to make in their situation. and once the student figures out the changes they would like to make. the advisor gives the student a couple option they can use in their situation to change the difficulty they are facing at salt lake community college. during the advising the advisors put themselves in the student position. as in what they would do if they were the student, what would first thing that would come to their mind if they were the student and what kind of changes would they like to make. the advisors make their decisions carefully according to the student needs. because most of the advisors at salt lake community college attend the some college as well. so most of them have experience when it comes to some of the struggles the student are faced with. because they went to college as well. for an example there was a time i was in need of advising because i wasnã¢â?â?t sure what classes to take a semester because my acuplacer scores had me worried. so i took the advantage and went to the academic advising center. when i got there i asked respectfully if i could meet with an advisor and the lady in the front desk asked me to sign up and have a seat and wait for the advisor. so i did and the advisor came and we went to his office and i introduced myself and he introduce himself as well we sat down and he asked me what he could help me with and i explain my situation to him gently in a clam manner. once he listened to the difficulties i was facing he give me a couple of option and help me plan my class for each semester. which really help me because i now know what i am doing and anytime iã¢â?â?m faced with a problem i am never afraid to go to the academic advising center for help. a couple of things i personally feel like the academic advising center at salt lake community college could improve on is the waiting list. i feel like the waiting list is too long you have to wait like 30 minutes until another advisor is available to see you which is wrong because a lot of student are really in a hurry sometimes or have work to go to after so some canã¢â?â?t wait that long. i think they should really open up another advising center on campus because a lot of student are in need. also i personally feel like if they had couple advisor that can speak maybe french or another language it would be helpful because some student come from another country that struggle with english and need help with understanding how to plan for their classes or other things but thatã¢â?â?s what i personally feel like they can improve on. based on my experience i would award the advising center 4 stars.

Salt Lake Community College seems like the best college for what I want to do and where I want to go to. The campus seems nice and for people who live on campus there seems like a lot of things to do and a lot of new people to meet. Plus the location is good as well

Salt Lake Community College has small classes which makes it easy to get to know your classmates and professors. The professors are always there to help every student understand the material being taught. Not to mention how inexpensive the tuition is.
