Affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Brigham Young University-Idaho is a 4-year institution in eastern Idaho and the state’s largest private university. BYU-Idaho is home to six colleges and schools conferring undergraduate degrees. As a Mormon institution, students are required to follow an honor code that includes regular attendance at church services and abstaining from alcohol and drug use. For a break from the rigors of university life, BYU-Idaho sponsors a number of outdoor activity excursions in the surrounding area such as whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and ziplining.
