The University of Utah is a public research instititution situated in Salt Lake City that offers more than 100 undergraduate majors. The U is home to three professional arts organizations to complement the College of Fine Arts, and even features a 3,000-seat outdoor venue called Red Butte Garden. With an Asia campus that works in conjunction with the main location, the Office for Global Engagement coordinates semesters abroad as well as provides support for international students. In honor of the Ute Indian Tribe, the University of Utah is "Ute Proud" and honors the culture and heritage of the region.
