    I think it really depends on your major and whether you know what you want to do. Some people waste money their first year or so because they change majors. Besides for that, the university holds a lot of events and the teachers and staff are very competent and helpful.

    Even though the dorm prices are a little high it is still worth the money. You get out a lot more than you put in at this school and because it is one of the cheapest schools in louisiana, they do not break your back when it comes time to pay your dues.
