Southern University and A & M College is a 4-year public Historically Black College and University in Baton Rouge and the flagship institution of the Southern University System. A member of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, SUBR is Louisiana’s largest HBCU. Southern is home to six colleges conferring undergraduate degrees and the university makes its Criminal Justice, General Studies, Psychology, and Interdisciplinary Studies programs available entirely online. For musically-inclined students, Southern’s marching band is known as The Human Jukebox and participates in numerous prestigious events including the Tournament of Roses parade.

Southern University A&M College is the top Historical Black College and University located in Baton Rouge, Louisianna. My University obtains the number one nursing school in the state of Louisianna, has a premire Engerneering program, and also produces the most lawyers in state from its thriving Law program. Not only is Southern University reigning in academics, but student intercation and social activities on campus is another reason why my university is the number one choice.
