    If you go to Louisville, expect some awesome opportunities. If you are looking to pursue Public Health search for a different university, the program is an absolute mess...redundant learning...scatterbrained professors and advisors, take your potential elsewhere for this degree.

    My tips would just be to be smart. Don't forget why you're at college, which would be to get an education. Find that balance between your social and academic life and surround yourself with positive influences. Oh, and get an umbrella and some rain boots--when it rains, it pours.

    if you are thinking of coming here, i would advise to talk to people in your intended major. i am an engineering student and i came to campus and talked to some upperclassmen and counselors and they really helped to understand all of the wonderful things that uofl has to offer

    the meal plan is mandatory (even for off campus students) and increases by $25 every year. as an off campus student the meal plan fee is now at $225. the gym fee is mandatory as well at $98 a semester for full time students and $45 for half-time. the u of l affiliated off campus housing starts at $600 a room for a 4 bedroom apartment and goes up to $950 for a one bedroom. as you plan to go to u of l, also factor in rising costs for each year and be pro-active about using their financial aid services to help you find scholarships. they have a system set up where you can submit one application and a team will match your scholarships to help you get additional funding.
