    Bang for the buck

ASU is generous when it comes to scholarships, so for me, tuition was free! The facility is new, so everything is clean and modern.

    What to do for fun

Like I said before, join a club! Also, the UCENT building used to be a bank, so there are lots of secret passageways if you feel like exploring. On days where the weather is nice, Civic Park is where most people go to study, play games, or just hang out.

    Food and Dining

There is a great variety of food, not only in the cafe, but also around campus. From Asian food to Subway, to vegetarian restaurants, this campus has it all.

    Dorm Life

I lived on my own, so I have no experience with dorm life. But from everything I've heard, it's not all that bad. There's no hazing, the showers are warm, and the wifi is actually decent.

    Academic Rigor

Online classes are the hardest. Register as soon as you can, and take as many in-person classes as your schedule will allow.

    Tips for prospective students

Don't be shy. Get involved in clubs and go to those lame events at civic park. You'll find they're not so lame after all!

    In three sentences

ASU's Downtown campus feels more like a group of business buildings than a college town. I personally prefer this over the layout of most other universities. It is near several different types of public transportation (ASU's inter-campus shuttle, metro bus stops, and the light rail).

Great for these types of students

The downtown campus is mainly journalism, health and criminal justice majors. The other ASU branches focus on different areas. Arizona state university is for dedicated students who are friendly and responsible.

    Tips for prospective students

If you want a campus where you feel welcomed then ASU is the college. There is many opportunities to get involved and also many people willing to help with assignments. Don't be afraid to ask for help and don't slack off in your studies. The student success center is where tutoring is available and also the writing center where your papers can be reviewed and advice be given to improve the paper.

    Bang for the buck

The tuition is high at a university and I am realizing that this semester. I love ASU though so I won't complain about price or I might as well have went to a community college.

    Am enjoying being here

The ASU downtown campus is friendly and enjoyable. I like that it is conveniently closer to home compared to the Tempe campus. The staff and students are great.

    Am learning a lot

Yes, I am learning quite a bit of new information so far. Most of the prerequisites are classes I have already taken in high school but that just makes the classes easier.
