

Bethel College-North Newton
Bethel College is a private, liberal arts institution located in North Newton, Kansas, and is the only college in the state classified as a National Liberal Arts College. The first Mennonite institution founded in North America, Bethel has been operating since 1893 and today offers more than 43 areas of study as well as a “design your own iMajor” option. All feature the Common Grounds core curriculum, which has several components that include cross-cultural learning, integrating life and faith, as well as undergraduate research. Bethel has a focus on service and many students take advantage of the local, global, and on-campus service learning opportunities, as well as the variety of on-campus organizations that include inclusive groups such as FemCore, a Gay/Straight Alliance, and a Safe Zone Program.
