Room and Board
The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
(amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
+ amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
+ amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. I really enjoy that it is a small campus. All the professors are kind and understanding. It feels like we're one big, happy family.
I have found Midland University to be a very welcoming campus. Midland offers great opportunities, the class sizes are small, and the teachers are willing to assist students on a one on one basis. With hard work I will be able to receive my BSN in their 4 year Nursing program, and the campus life, professors, admissions, etc are all very much involved in with me achieving success in both academics and athletics.
