Doane University
Doane University is a private, 4-year institution established in Crete, Nebraska. The college also maintains three additional, satellite campuses in Lincoln, Grand Island, and Omaha. Students attending Doane have a number of special academic opportunities, such as the Hansen Leadership Program, the Doane Learning Communities, and a number of chances for student-faculty research. It is pretty obvious when you visit Doane, that the small student population gives you a sense of home that larger universities can't offer you. Doane is a very down to earth, liberal college that makes it a priority to get every student involved. The students and faculty at Doane want to know each other; they practically beg for your acquaintanceship. Doane is like a family away from your family, and you won't want to leave.

The learning environment is wonderful. The classes are small enough to get one on one time with teachers. Most of the teachers try to make you and others better and try to help you succeed. Its a wonderful school!
