Pitzer College is a liberal arts college and a member of the five Claremont Colleges. Students are encouraged to take classes at the other Claremont colleges and libraries and dining halls are shared between all students. The curriculum at Pitzer College focuses on social sciences, media studies, behavioral sciences, and international programs like their Firestone Center for Restoration Ecology in Costa Rica. All students are required to take service-based learning classes in order to graduate.
Pitzer has an amazing curriculum where it is open to let students shape their own education. We believe in social responsibility, and we have tons of opportunities to be socially active. Pitzer's food is amazing, and anyone would love it.

It's a small school that doesn't feel small because of the 5 other colleges surrounding it. They're all extremely close to each other. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from Pomona to Pitzer (and they're at opposite corners.)
