Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1934, Salve Regina University is a Catholic liberal arts college bordering the Newport Cliff Walk in coastal Rhode Island. Featuring a campus of former Gilded Age mansions, Salve grants bachelor’s degrees in over 40 academic majors. As a Catholic university, Salve celebrates mass on Sundays and four weekdays at the Our Lady of Mercy Chapel. Additionally, the university engages students to participate in campus spiritual life through its Mercy in Motion program.
i absolutely love everything about salve. the classes you're in are small so your teacher knows who you are and you know your classmates. we go to school in the most beautiful place i think in the world.

Salve is a great school to attend if you are focused on your academics, seeking a deeper spiritual life (or not), plan to get involved in the community, and wish to be by the ocean.
