Founded in 1873 as a coeducational and Christian-based institution, Texas Christian University is a Tier 1 University with “higher research activity” and rated as having a “more selective” admissions process. TCU has its own study programs in Seville, Spain, Florence, Italy, and London, England. The U.S. News & World Report ranks the school as #78 in National Universities. TCU maintains affiliations with the Disciples of Christ and Brite Divinity School.
An amazing school that offers a multitude of majors and a huge number of student organizations to get involved in! Sometimes called Texas Construction University, TCU is constantly updating or renovating their buildings to provide the best for their students. Football is like a cult here and gives the whole campus an opportunity to band together in support of the horned frogs!
The environment is probably one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. I feel like I am at a large university with so many amenities that TCU offers as well as Fort Worth and I couldn't ask for better professors or the education I'm receiving. Although I do have lots of student loans, I believe that it is worth what I am getting and will pay off in the end.
