Get an on-campus job if possible. You will meet some great people. Join a sorority and be involved as much as possible.

Be prepared to pay all lab fees for classes even if you recieved a Presidential Scholarship. While your scholarship says, " all labs and fees [are free]..." you are still forced to pay those "class lab fees" at $40 dollars per lab. For a Tech school, the online tuition payment system (BOSS) and online classroom homework page (Moodle and Webwork) are very outdated and crash often. If you're an engineer or a buisness major, you have new facillities (by 2020) which are significantly nicer than most of the older buildings. You have to deal with low funding in the chemistry, biology, and engineering labs, except for 3D printers (which are in a high quanity around campus) You have to make your own opportunity here, as some are very content to stay in the status quo, and not change anything.
