New Mexico State University-Main Campus is a flagship of the NMSU system and Hispanic-serving research institution. It is the first university in New Mexico and a designated land- and space-grant institution. The Carnegie Foundation has named NM State as having “higher research activity.” The New Mexico State campus is home to a 48-acre horse farm, grape vineyards, greenhouses, a garden, and the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum.
New Mexico State is large enough to have something for everyone, but small enough for a sense of community. And, it's beautiful!

New Mexico State is a homey, clean, adjacent to everything kind of place. A great atmosphere and very nice people to meet. Everything is close by and students are friendly, always around to meet new people.
