Founded in 1888, New Mexico State University is a 4-year public school with a main campus in south central New Mexico. A designated Hispanic-serving research institution, New Mexico State encompasses six academic colleges conferring undergraduate degrees as well as the state’s first Honors College. Additionally, the New Mexico State campus is home to a 48-acre horse farm, grape vineyards, greenhouses, a garden, and the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum. For students looking to explore media studies, New Mexico State features on-campus public radio and TV stations as well as a student-run college radio station.
New Mexico State is large enough to have something for everyone, but small enough for a sense of community. And, it's beautiful!

New Mexico State is a homey, clean, adjacent to everything kind of place. A great atmosphere and very nice people to meet. Everything is close by and students are friendly, always around to meet new people.
