St. Lawrence University is a liberal arts college established by the Universalist Church. The institution lies on the border of New York State and Canada and is the oldest co-educational facility in the state. Students can choose to participate in one of the off-campus semester-long programs St. Lawrence University offers in locations such as Kenya, New York City, and the Adirondack Mountains. One of the top majors at the school is the unique “business in the liberal arts program,” as well as psychology, and biology.
St. Lawrence University is school for the serious student. It has a 12:1 Faculty to Student Ratio, which insures each student receives personal attention. At SLU, we value nature, academics, and diplomacy as a university that is in the heart of the Adirondacks, a top ranked Liberal Arts School, and the closest University to the Canadian Border.
