Notre Dame is a top university, academically, spiritually, and socially, that provides students with the education and alumni network needed to succeed in the workplace. Emphasis is also placed on the Catholic character, and while about 20% are not Catholic, Catholic values such as service and respect are emphasized in the Notre Dame community. People at Notre Dame are generally kind, conscientious, and helpful towards one another as well as to guests who visit from off campus.
