I think this depends on your major. However, this school is fair. I was a biochemistry major and the classes were hard, but doable. My professors and T.A.'s are very approachable and helpful. There are many tutoring opportunities as well as office hours available for help. Overall, the classes are fairly difficult, but if you utilize the tools at your disposal, you won't have any problem getting good grades.

I'd say my classes are kind of intense, especially the honors program course. It depends on the professor, but as long as you go to most of the classes and do the homework on time you'll be all right. From my experience, all my professors and TA's went out of their way to help me understand the concepts and get better at writing, although I've heard of a few who don't. There are tutors and writing centers on campus too who will give you help if you need it.

The general requirements are not too overwhelming, although the courses move quickly; however, when one adds in the Barrett requirements combined with extracurricular activities it becomes much more difficult. If one uses every opportunity, ASU is a highly rigorous school.
